Strategy gaming died a long time ago in the eyes of many, if it ever lived at all for some. While the world spins on the axis of first person shooters and action-adventure there are those of us living in a video game universe of historical maps and spreadsheet-like menus. We know there is more to strategy than Real Time Strategy. From big 4X games and grand strategy titles. Indie colony builders and factory games. The variety available to those open to the wide genre of strategy never have a shortage of PC and console games to choose from.
This site is basically my takes and opinions on the games I play and stream. I am Cringer. I have streamed full-time for almost eight years and am just now getting off my ass to do something to put down on record my opinions and thoughts on the games I play every day on stream. Most of those games are strategy games. Sure I mix in some Assassin’s Creed or an RPG (which usually has strategic combat so it’s close) once in a while, but strategy is the core of all that is done on the channel.
The focus will be on new games as I get my hands on them to play. I would say they will not really be reviews, never considered myself a reviewer. I will give my opinion on them though. Recap my experience playing them. As well as occasionally some flashbacks and game tips, possibly. Might even hit up some streaming topics. It is a bit of an experiment to see what both you and I like. Welcome, and I hope you find it to be a place you come back to when wanting information on the latest strategy games.
